Three Ways You Didn’t Know You Could Have Guac

Yogurt dips

There’s more than one way to use fresh guacamole dips! Here are few recipes using guacamole that you probably never thought would exist!

Breakfast BLT.

There’s nothing better for breakfast than a breakfast sandwich, just as there’s nothing better for lunch than a good, ‘ol BLT, so why not combine them for the ultimate breakfast extravaganza. All you need is a bagel, bacon, tomato, lettuce, and — of course — some fresh guacamole. Toast your bagel, cook your bacon, and fry your egg the way you’d like. Then, once it’s all done, spread some of your fresh guacamole on the bagel, and load the rest of the ingredients on.

Baked Potato.

One of the best parts of enjoying a baked potato is getting to add a ton of stuff on top. Baked potatoes go great with sour cream, chives, chili, cheddar cheese, butter… and fresh guacamole? For a nice little change up, why not throw some fresh guacamole on top of your baked potato? You can even add some crumbled bacon on top for an extra scrumptious side!

Chicken Salad.

Chicken salad is great and all, but all that mayonnaise is just not good for you. Instead, substitute with fresh guacamole for an out of this world Southwestern chicken salad. Take your normal recipe, swap out the mayo for the guac, and add some red onion, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne, and chili powder, too. That way, you can get some really Southwestern heat going for you. This chicken salad goes great in a salad, or on a sandwich. If you’re feeling really adventurous, you can even try using it in a panini with some cheese.

These are just a few recipes with guacamole. If you know of any other awesome ways to use fresh guacamole, or any other sort of veggie dips, feel free to share in the comments.
